Answer
there is a taoist proverb that goes something like a man once had a beautiful white horse the emperor noticed it and wanted to buy it for ryu however the man did want all the money he was happy with the horse, the emperor left and all the town woed for the man for his stupidity saying quotyou had your chance to be rich and you threw it away you stupid old manquot however the man did not care he was happy one day while his son was riding the horse the horse jeered throwing the boy of his saddle and breaking his leg the town woed for the mans son exclaiming what bad luck he had had saying quotif only you had sold the horse this would never have happened what bad luck this isquot but the man did not care he only mentioned that quotall things happen as they must this is neither a good or bad even however it still saddens mequot a few months later war broke and all the young men of the town left to fight the war however the mans son stayed because his leg was broken and all the townspeople cried for the lost sons exclaiming to the old man quothow lucky you are you did not sell your horse and with a stroke of luck your son is still alive oh what i would give to have minequot but the old man again only said quotall things will happen as they must this is neither good luck nor bad luckquot a few months later the old man died and left his son the horse the emperor came back and again requested the beautiful horse from the son instead however the son did not sell the emperor dissapointed left again and all the townspeople cried quotwhat a fool just like his old man i doubt you will be half as lucky as he was and you will fall into ruinquot but the son did not care as he was happy honoring his fathers name a few months later the boy awoke to find that the horse had dissappeared he searched and searched but the horse was no where to be found and all the townspeople cried quothahaha what a fool you chose not to sell that stupid horse and now look at you you have nothing what a foolquot the boy did feel sorry he had not sold the horse but remained hopefull in all his fathers teachings a few years later the boy now a man awoke in his shed poor and pennyless to an entire family of beautiful white horses the leader his old horse came to him and the entire group of horses followed the townspeople cried and cheered quotwhat luck now he will be rich with all these horses to sell to the king and the boy did just that he sold off the horses except his fathers horse and became rich basically what im trying to say is i could care less as long as i walk away with my life ill keep living although afterwards id call the cops on the prick and get my wallet back hahaha
