If you found two or three rats conducting a philosophical dialogue, would you stomp them?
Answer
Id listen a bit, just to see whether what they were saying was any good. If it was, Id take notes. Sooner or later, though, Id stomp them. This is our world, and we dont want their kind taking it over, no matter how gifted they are philosophically. Even an unending roll of good ideas and deep insights can be a ruse, a cover, a distraction from the important fact of how rapidly the rats are defiling our pantries, knawing holes in our homes, attacking our children, and breeding more rats to do more of the same. Even the best of the rats deserves to die.
